of Amble House at the County Hotel, Newcastle
upon Tyne

All that capital messuage or Mansion House situate at Amble in the
county of Northumberland and known as “Amble House” together with the
gardens and pleasure grounds adjoining the same, containing by
estimation one acre and three roods or thereabouts, bounded on the North
and North West by the road leading from Amble to Warkworth; on the South
East, in part by property formerly belonging to Thomas Potts and now or
lately by Robert and John Thomas Carse and in part by property lately
belonging to Edward Lawson; on the North East by property now or lately
belonging to Robert Carse; and on the South West by property now or late
of the Countess of Newborough, and which premises are in the occupation
of the purchaser as tenant thereof, and are more particularly delineated
in the Plan attached hereto and thereon coloured round with blue
Together with a right for all persons passing to or from the said
premises in the main street of Amble with or without horses carts and
all kinds of carriages, together with the other persons entitled thereto
to pass and repass over and along the road or way leading from the South
East corner of the said piece of ground across property now or lately
belonging to the said Robert Carse into the main street of Amble and
which road is shown in the said Plan by dotted lines and coloured red.
Special Conditions – Title to Property shall commence

with an
Indenture of Conveyance of 18 December 1893 made between John Currie
James Curror and Grace Young Currie of the one part and William Smyth of
the other part;

the mines and minerals within and under the said premises with powers for winning working and carrying away the same are
reserved to such owners or
owner who are or is entitled to the same and are not included in the sale;
-
a right of foot horse and carriage way over the roads on the
North, North East and East are reserved unto one Alexander Wellwood
Rattray his heirs and assigns.
