St John's Church Chevington - Churchyard Monumental Inscriptions

 
The gravestones (apart from three) have been removed from their original positions and placed along the west and north walls of the churchyard. Trees and other vegetation have obscured a number of stones, leaving us with about 90%, which are transcribed here. Images of the church itself are on this page.

George, died March 19 1876, aged 3 years and 5 months. These lovely buds, so young and fair, called home by early doom, just came to show how fair such flowers in paradise would bloom.
